The Jackson Galaxy Project is a program of Greater Good Charities that helps animals and the people who care for them. 

The mission of The Jackson Galaxy Project, a program of Greater Good Charities, is to improve the lives of animals at risk by transforming the places they live and helping the people who care for them. 

The Project is the realization of Jackson’s long-standing dream. Jackson Galaxy found his way into animal welfare the way that most people do: part chance, part fate, part destiny. During his journey from entry-level shelter worker to America’s Cat Daddy, Jackson questioned, observed and learned. He saw what worked, what wasn’t working, and created new solutions. He developed a vision to help animals through innovation and collaboration. Today, that vision is becoming a reality through The Jackson Galaxy Project.

The Project:

 - focuses on programs that drive innovation
 - promotes improved shelter design and construction
 - provides “Elevation through Education”: increased knowledge that inspires and empowers staff, rescuers and adopters to continually raise the bar for animals at risk Jackson helps guide the Projects’s vision as a member of the Greater Good Charities Board.

Every kitten season, thousands of motherless kittens are at risk of death on the streets and in animal shelters. Without a mother to care for them, kittens face impossible odds, and can’t survive without specialized care.

Orphan Kitten Club is on a mission to end the killing of neonatal kittens–and to give every kitten a chance at a full and happy life. We are building a safer world for the tiniest felines by rescuing them in our state-of-the-art kitten nursery, ending the cycle of reproduction through sterilization, and providing the world’s first grant program targeted at saving neonatal kittens.

Lil BUB’s Big Fund exists to advocate for special needs companion animals and build a community that celebrates and fosters the human-animal bond. With a focus on animals that are the most difficult to adopt, the most expensive to care for, and are at a high risk of euthanasia. 

Lil BUB’s Big Fund provides access to care for special needs pets nationwide. We work with community leaders, shelters, and rescues nationwide to create special needs focused frameworks. We visit schools to promote kindness and inclusion. Through our work, we share BUB’s message of overcoming adversity and the knowledge that the things that make us different are worthy of being seen and appreciated.
