Earthquake Response

Raised
$64,729
Goal
$50,000

Almost 50,000 people (more than 47,000 as of February 21st) were killed when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southeast Turkey and neighboring Syria on February 6, followed by a 6.4 aftershock on February 20. Thousands are still trapped under rubble and many more have lost their homes in the cold, winter conditions.

The United Nations - Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund is supporting local women's nonprofits working on the ground to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs.

These organizations are at the forefront of the emergency response and are leading the work to protect vulnerable women and girls as well as the recovery efforts that will follow.

Your gift will help them provide critical life-saving assistance in areas affected by the earthquake and in countries in crisis around the world. Please give what you can today.
