I am passionate about women's economic empowerment. WITU supports women from underserved communities to start their own businesses by teaching them how to start, run and manage a business and a small micro loan as starting capital for the business. Milly Alum started an affordable pay as you go daycare in her community to support other low income moms who cannot afford traditional daycare. As a result, Milly herself has an income doing a job she is passionate about and other moms can now go to work knowing their babies are in a safe haven.
