Help keep our community choir singing! #GivingTuesday

WHCC is a no-audition community choir in Upper Manhattan. We're a lively, diverse, and welcoming group that loves to sing and believes in the power of music to spread joy and build community.

Thanks to our generous donors, we remained on our feet in 2023 and have grown from 25 to nearly 60 members! But we need your help to become a permanent fixture in our community.

Our choir dues are intentionally low to allow all to participate. But dues only cover about half of our costs.

Your support will keep us singing in 2024! Here’s how your donation can help:

$10 will cover a ream of paper (and we use a lot!)
$15 will cover 2 copies of a new piece of music for our choir
$40 will cover the cost of our rehearsal space for a week
$50 will help cover our insurance for one month
$100 will pay for a pianist for one rehearsal

Washington Heights Community Choir operates as a project of Players Philanthropy Fund, a Maryland charitable trust recognized by IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178, ppf.org/pp). Contributions to Washington Heights Community Choir qualify as tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
