Through research and education, Vote Mama Foundation is working to make it easier for moms to run for and serve in elected office.

**Vote Mama Foundation**, a 501(c)(3) organization, is building the political power of moms by identifying and researching solutions to the structural barriers moms face running for and serving in elected office. **From now until Friday, December 13 at 12pm ET, Melinda French Gates' organization, Pivotal, will match up to $500,000 in individual donations 2-to-1 in support of Vote Mama Foundation (up to $20,000 per donor). This means every dollar you give could have triple the impact!**

Vote Mama Foundation research shows that moms with minor children make up less than 8% of state legislators and less than 7% of congressional representatives. Moms face extraordinary structural and cultural barriers to elected office, like the inability to afford childcare while campaigning without a salary or while commuting long distances to the capitol.
