Founded in 2008 Temple Garden Foundation (TGF) works in partnership with local villages in Cambodia to improve livelihoods through sustainable development and the empowerment of communities. It supports projects that maximize community participation and minimize external support in four interconnected areas: Water & Sanitation, Health, Children's Education, and Income Generation.

Our Biogas Initiative is a crucial step of sustainable energy development in rural Cambodia. With your support, we're making biogas units a reality for more families, providing numerous benefits:

Clean Energy: Biogas units provide a smoke-free, renewable energy source. This leads to healthier living conditions and reduces time spent collecting traditional fuel.

Sustainable Agriculture: The byproduct of the biogas process is an organic fertilizer, enriching the soil for better crop yields and fostering eco-friendly farming.

Economic Savings: With reduced spending on conventional fuels and increased agricultural yield, families save more, effectively aiding them to overcome poverty.

Environmental Protection: Biogas systems alleviate deforestation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by using organic waste for energy.


To support these efforts, TGF contributes $350 towards the construction of each biogas unit. 


Empower Rural Cambodia with Biogas

Support the Temple Garden Foundation’s mission to combat malnutrition in Cambodia through our Home Garden Project. 
We equip families, two kindergartens, and a community health center with the tools and knowledge to grow nutritious food, thereby improving diets, enhancing educational opportunities, and imparting sustainable farming practices.
Your donation will help us in developing gardens for five families, two kindergartens, and a health center, fostering a wide-reaching impact on nutrition and health awareness in our communities.
