The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Survivors Benefit Fund (SBF) is a non-profit organization that provides financial and educational assistance to the families of DEA and Task Force employees killed in the line of duty as well as providing memorials to these fallen heroes
The Survivors Benefit Fund is an established 501(c)(3) charity created in 1997.
The fund provides an immediate $25,000 payment to the families of DEA employees or Task Force Officers killed in the line of duty and $10,000 for each dependent within 24 hours. The DEASBF also provides funding to pay for the educational expenses of surviving family members including, as appropriate, training, retraining of the spouse and college or trade school for children
