Help support the future of mountain biking in Chattanooga!

For over 20 years, SORBA Chattanooga has operated as an all volunteer organization. In those 20 years, we have either constructed, or supported the construction of, over 160 miles of trails within 30 minutes of downtown. In addition to trails, SORBA Chattanooga has partnered with organizations like White Oak Bike Co-op, Lula Lake Land Trust, the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County to build a strong mountain biking community that boasts over 450 members.
In order to keep the stoke going, the SORBA Chattanooga Board of Directors has decided to hire a full time, paid, Executive Director to lead the organization into the future. This person will continue to push the needle to steward our amazing trails while continuing to expand the mountain biking community around town.
Through a generous grant from the Lyndhurst Foundation, SORBA Chattanooga has received $50,000 to kickstart this adventure. Now we need your help to double that money through the matching portion of the grant. For every dollar you donate, the Lyndhurst Foundation will generously give another dollar.
This funding will help us support partnerships with fantastic organizations like White Oak Bike Co-op, Two Bikes Chattanooga, and Catalyst Sports, all of which work to connect and amplify the mountain biking community. Additionally, it will enable us to hire a team of full-time staff who will advocate for and maintain our local trails.
Please help us in our mission to make Chattanooga an amazing mountain biking community for visitors and locals alike!
