This is a portfolio of racial justice organizations that we had the honor of meeting during our 12-month cohort. 

Many of us are asking what we can do to ensure a more just society. The Racial Justice Community Impact Circle is a place for donors to unpack their own privileges and biases, reflect on their abilities to effect change, and move beyond transactional philanthropy to transformational work.

There is a spectrum of stages to becoming an antiracist: Awareness—Acknowledgement — Acceptance — Action — Commitment. Members of this group worked for a year to move along the continuum, beginning with foundational self-exploration and social justice learning, then meeting with community leaders and nonprofits for in-depth conversations on specific issues. By the end of the circle’s engagement, each member decides on which organizations they wanted to invest in, which this fund reflects.
