For 55 years, PSI has partnered with corporations, foundations, governments, **and individuals like you** to deliver global health solutions in malaria, HIV/AIDS, contraception, and beyond. But in 2025, sudden terminations to the majority of our U.S. government-funded programs severely impacted PSI’s work in over 20 countries, **disrupting the delivery of vital services and impacting countless lives.**

In 2024 alone, 21 projects that were funded by the U.S. government enabled us to reach 15 million people with essential care. **These health needs don’t pause,** even when funding does. That is why, in response to this crisis, PSI is activating its Catalyst Fund. Designed to foster innovation and invest in promising new solutions, the Catalyst Fund is positioned to quickly deploy cash to address critical needs in countries and initiatives that lost a significant portion of funding due to the terminations, **ensure continuity of lifesaving healthcare, and build towards a sustainable future** through non-U.S. government funding.

Our health workers in Burundi can stock up on supplies to respond to the outbreak of mpox, treating and preventing this painful and dangerous infectious disease.
