Replace Stolen Tools & Equipment

Raised
$600
Goal
$3,500

In the pre-dawn hours of May 27th, 2024, the Mystic Arts Foundation's transport vehicle was the victim of a targeted smash and grab robbery that resulted in the loss of several thousand dollars worth of tools and equipment. This sad occurrence took place while President/CEO, Timothy Johnson aka Cyberius Rex, was passing through Oakland, CA to participate in the Work Weekends of the Temple of Together Construction, as well as, other repair and prep work in California and Nevada related to Burning Man for 2024.

Power tools (drill motors, air inflator), hand tools (socket sets wrenches, hammer, screwdrivers, pry bar, etc.), a rolling storage bin, extension cords, multiple hardware kits, and a portable generator were removed from the vehicle after the burglars smashed the rear passenger window, causing another expense. The majority of these tools have been used to build and maintain the Mystic Flyer Experience Mutant Vehicle and other art projects for many years. Their loss has a devastating impact. C-Rex even lost his childhood baseball catcher's mitt and glove, that he was storing in the bin.

We are saddened by this violation of our personal space and trust those that did this can someday find what they are looking for in life and stop this type of damaging crime, however, what remains is our need to replace these tools so the work can continue.

We ask for your consideration to contribute to this fund as we begin to purchase replacements.
