I am so excited to say that we are now in our 5th semester of learning at the Moz Library! We have a group of 62 new students signed up and ready to start their learning journey.

What is the Moz Library? The Moz Library is the only free, public space for children to come and learn in the town of Ile, Mozambique. Our staff works with the local elementary schools to identify underperforming children to join us for a semester outside of regular school hours. Our certified teachers take the shame out of being behind in school, and turn our classroom into a small, fun club! Our small class sizes, game-inspired lesson plans, and individualized learning plans provide our students the knowledge and the confidence to excel in their everyday classroom setting.

Our library does not have big grant funding and is run exclusively on my own personal donations and the support of our community. To keep us running, we only cost $3,000 annually. Your donation goes a long way to keep our doors open. Thank you!
