I abhor all forms of brutality against anyone.   No “Justice System” should ever treat people worse than animals.  I totally support what Lioness JIWA is doing!

Texas Judicial System. You need to provide AC for all imprisoned in Texas. The heat is extreme and you are responsible to assure women aren't dying or ill from extreme heat with no relief.

I support second chances and I support needing the devaluing of incarcerated women in Texas.

I have been sharing sound healing and self-awareness classes in prisons in Texas since 2021 and have witnessed all the things that JIWA is addressing. I look forward to the day we are able to close all these facilities and support those who have lost their way in a more humane and productive manner.

Lioness understands the power of the Women's Storybook Project. Many of our members have participated in this incredible program! The Women’s Storybook Project helps incarcerated mothers stay connected with their children through books, but it’s so much more; it delivers a recording of her voice, as she reads stories, to her family and children.

This holiday season, we would like to share our platform to elevate this amazing program. Lioness and Storybook share a common goal of strengthening maternal bonds and helping create community support for incarcerated women and their children. A percentage of donations will go directly to the Women’s Storybook Project to help them continue their impactful and meaningful work. It is our holiday gift back to this beautiful group of volunteers who helped us maintain connections to our kids!

The extreme temperatures in Texas prisons pose a serious threat to the well-being of incarcerated women. During scorching summers, these brave women endure unbearable heat without access to proper cooling resources. But we have the power to change that!

With your generous support, we aim to provide much-needed relief by supporting organizations that deliver chill towels, water bottles, and hygiene items to these women. Your contribution will directly impact their lives, offering them a moment of respite from the harsh conditions they face.

Our efforts extend beyond immediate relief though. A portion of the funds raised will be dedicated to our continued efforts to demand temperature control within the Texas prison system.
