We believe that frontline activists & organizers are a key source of societal progress, *yet they are radically underserved*. We’re here to change that. *This fundraiser will launch our operations as an organization.*

Our founding product is [CECI ](https://www.liminal-works.org/ceci)the first free and private knowledge platform for building and sharing effective grassroots strategies. Strategies are built through our bespoke *theory-of-change* engine. CECI’s purpose is to help progress move closer to the speed of information on a platform that cares about your data ownership and privacy.

[CECI](https://www.liminal-works.org/ceci) will first launch across the U.S. serving the LGBTQIA rights and Gender Justice movements during this critical moment in history when far right coalitions are organizing to further destabilize and threaten these groups in [2025](https://www.project2025.org/). LGBTQIA scapegoating [contributes to the 18th consecutive year ](https://www.projectoverzero.org/s/FINAL-Full-Decoding-LGBTQ-Scapegoating-4.pdf)of declining global freedom. The U.S. remains home to over [70% of femicides ](https://chicagopolicyreview.org/2022/07/07/is-the-us-still-too-patriarchal-to-talk-about-women-the-silent-epidemic-of-femicide-in-america/)in high-income countries.

CECI is a force-multiplier for strategy and innovation across these movements by creating a platform that:

✓ **Leverages our bespoke *Theory-of-Change* engine** **to articulate tactics and strategy**

✓ **Convenes** **leaders** digitally across the movement to learn effective strategies by helping them find others in their movement using similar tactics

✓ **Notifies leaders as new innovations prove successful** in other communities organizing for their movement

✓ **Encourages off-platform activity** to connect, collaborate and thus create more robust, decentralized networks so that any attack on our platform cannot stop the movement



**Here's what this campaign will unlock for our movement**

🔓🛠1st unlock: Skeleton infrastructure | Total = $10,500 (6 week goal)
✅ $3,500 : Remaining startup costs
✅ $7,000 : Program costs to build and test "Theory of Change" engine with early adopters of the platform
⏳Sustains our first 2 months

🔓✊2nd unlock: MVP platform for LGBTQIA & Gender Justice strategies | + $62,000 (year-end goal)
✅$21,000: In-house webapp development to view, comment, connect roadmaps for these movements
✅$5,000: Consultants and other contracts to augment our in-house webapp development
✅$6,000: Organizational infrastructure, legal fees, and technology overhead
✅$30,000: Program costs to onboard 100 roadmaps from activists-organizers to the platform
