This Project will provide sustainable menstrual health and hygiene solutions to around 50000 women and Girls. Project Saheli will create awareness among underprivileged women and girls in India who face challenges due to inadequate menstrual hygiene facilities, ,which leads to health risks and school dropouts.
The project plans to install sanitary pads vending machines and incinerators in rural schools and educate them about MHM and Safe Use and Disposal Sanitary Pads.
In India , it's estimated that around 336 million menstruating women and girls face challenges related to menstrual health and hygiene due to factors such as poverty, inadequate sanitation ,lack of education on menstrual health. This project will help around 50000 women with sanitary products, sanitation, education, awareness and their overall well-being .
Our Project Provides Sanitary kits to women in slums ,remote areas ,sanitary Pads . Vending machines are installed at various places specially government run schools to make them available to larger number of girls ,incineration machines are also installed to dispose off the waste of sanitary pads without creating any pollution at any levels . Saheli enables them to manage their menstrual health confidently and with dignity.
Saheli provides them with better health and hygiene facilities .By providing comprehensive solutions for menstrual health and safe disposal of menstrual waste will help marginalized women with better health ,improved hygiene by protecting the climate. It will also motivate teenagers to go back to schools as many girls leave schools due to lack of knowledge of menstrual products and menstrual health .
