Ride To The Future

In the rural areas of Morogoro, Tanzania, young girls from our Binti Shupavu Program face challenges on their journey to school. Binti Shupavu is a four-year life skills course for lower secondary school girls covering topics such as study skills, personal leadership, health, and self-confidence with the goal of increasing graduation rates for vulnerable girls in Tanzania. Many of these young girls walk over 16 kilometers each day, spending four hours to reach school and another four to return home, and these schools are the nearest compared to any other school around them. These exhausting walks hinder their ability to participate fully in their school sessions, leading to a loss of interest in school, increased dropout rates, and poor performance caused by low class attendance, making it hard for them to achieve their dreams.

GLAMI, in partnership with ABC IMPACT, has launched the "Ride to the Future" campaign to provide 100 bicycles to these resilient young scholars. With a bicycle, each girl can attend school on time, engage more in class, and have the energy and time to excel in their studies. Your contribution will directly impact their daily lives and their future opportunities.

  • Donating $28 provides a bicycle to the girl
  • Donating $48 Provides one bicycle, all transportation costs to deliver the bicycle, and training on basic bicycle maintenance.

Imagine the joy of a girl who no longer has to walk hours just to learn. Imagine her potential unleashed.

Join us in transforming their educational journey. Your donation will provide not just a bicycle, but a ride for change, hope, and a brighter future for these young girls.

Donate today and help us pave the way to success for the Binti Scholars in Morogoro. Your support is the key to their brighter future.

We mentor secondary school girls in Tanzania to complete their education and transform their own lives and their communities.

I was in Tanzania and visited a school a week ago. I was so impressed attending a classroom and seeing these girls enthusiasm and participation. Getting to this class should not be a hindrance due to distance. Glad to help make this trip...
