Support the Maison Poincaré

the Maison Poincaré is a new math museum that opened in 2023, carried by the Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP) and supported by the IHP Endowment Fund.

The ultimate objective of Maison Poincaré is to humanize mathematics, making it inclusive for everyone. Special attention has been given to the museum's inclusiveness, addressing the needs of various groups such as women, girls the visually impaired, remote audiences, and more.

Currently, there is a concerning decline in the younger generation's interest in mathematics, leading to a loss of vocation. This disinterest epidemic disproportionately affects girls and young people facing social, economic, and geographical isolation, resulting in a growing gap between scientists and the broader society.

The current main project of the endowment fund is to correct this gap and enable more isolated young people to come to the museum. The idea is to make maths attractive and to spark off vocations.
To make the most of this showcase, it has been decided to develop a 3D printing workshop inside the museum. Maison Poincaré will be offering educational workshops to make mathematics tangible and introduce school groups to the digital professions of the future.

This will also make it possible to develop new 3D pieces for the visually impaired and it will also be used to build new exhibits or repair those. These exhibits will enhance the museum's collection and help the guides to develop new activities

After that, the Endowment Fund will develop new projects to always give the taste of mathematics and sciences to the largest number of people.
