Enterprise Development & Governance Facility (EDGF) created in 2009, is a community based charitable civil society organization.

EDGF's core values are:

Based in the North West Region of Cameroon, with its head quarter in the regional capital city of Bamenda, EDGF is working to promote local living economies and to alleviate deprivation and poverty, thereby supporting and empowering people and their communities. EDGF Remain Focused on its Most Important Goal: To Eliminate Disadvantages and Enable Success and Self-Reliance.

OUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

We work in Mezam, Bui and Boyo divisions of the North West Region of Cameroon, one of the two English speaking regions where socio socio political crisis has impacted heavily  resulting in displacing 900,000 persons, now living in the urban cities and other regions, with 80,000 others displaced as refugees in nine camps in the neighboring Nigeria.

Despite the harsh socio political environments we strive to serve the most needy, marginalized unserved peoples in their communities.

Project title: Empowerment of underprivileged school drop-out single mothers

Project location: Cameroon, North West Region, Bamenda city

Project duration: 12 months,   Project cost: $5,000

Project beneficiaries: 10 School drop-outs single 12 to 25 years, orphans, single mothers, widows on self-help, self-sufficiency job placement skills of: tailoring, carpentry, and hairdressing, dress making, etc.

Project location: Cameroon, North West Region, Bamenda city

Project duration: 12 months

Project cost: $5,000

Project beneficiaries: 10 School drop-outs (boys and girls) 10 to 25 years, orphans, single mothers, widows on self-help, self-sufficiency job placement skills of: tailoring, carpentry, and hairdressing, dress making, bike and vehicle repairs, etc.

Project Goal: Tackling urban youths vulnerability
