Does Cold increase DMT in the Brain? (DMT Quest $50k Match)

Raised
$325
Goal
$50,000

This is a research study that will take place at UC Davis at the Olson Laboratory utilizing live micro-dialysis sampling to measure whether exposure to cold immersion increases DMT levels in the mammalian brain. This will be the first study in history to measure the effects of cold exposure on endogenous psychedelic changes. There is evidence to suggest that this could be a key component to the benefits of cold immersion based on the effects of hippocampal neurogenesis, large scale neuroplastic effects, and anti-inflammatory properties. Please help contribute to this study fundraiser and help DMT Quest by matching our $50k contribution towards this research! The total study will cost $130k to complete with a target date to start in Spring 2025.
