Frequently asked questions

How soon will my nonprofit receive the funds from a DAF donation?

Most DAF donations are disbursed within one to three weeks after a donation is initiated. The timing depends on the DAF provider and how they transmit the funds to Every.org.

Does DAFpay charge a separate fee?

No, not when you use Every.org. DAFpay normally charges nonprofits a processing fee, but we cover it for you. DAF donations processed through our platform are always 100% free.

What if a donor doesn’t want to use DAFpay, or their DAF isn’t supported by the widget?

In this case, a donor can initiate a DAF gift to your organization from your Every.org donation form and choose the option to generate instructions for a manual DAF donation. This creates a memo of intent that they can copy and send to their DAF provider to complete the grant request.

Where can I see the details for a DAF donation?

You can find the details for all your donations, including DAF donations, on your organization’s Every.org admin dashboard. For DAF donations, you will see which DAF institution the gift originated from in addition to donor or fund details, if provided.
