Unrestricted Grants for Community Changemakers

Breakout’s goal is to raise $60,000 for up to two $2,500 grants each month in 2022 to changemakers and community leaders across the US.

This coincides with our extremely successful Instagram challenges we’ve run for 2+ years that issues unrestricted funding to a host of changemakers across the US. To date, we’ve given over $185,000 to over 85 changemakers. This is transformational funding that allows local leaders to grow their impact in their communities. Every dollar of this campaign will be directly redistributed into the community, and you will have a voice in who is nominated and awarded funding.

Our grant recipients include:
89 percent to BIPOC leaders
57 percent to women-led organizations
