• MISSION AND IMPACT:

NOVA LUA is a transformative celebration of Brazilian and South American art and culture. Launched at Burning Man in 2023, the project aims to bridge cultural gaps and create immersive experiences through music, dance, and visual art.

Hosted at Camp Mystic, NOVA LUA embodies the principles of Radical Self-Expression and inclusivity, providing a platform for artists to showcase their unique talents on a global stage.

*OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $5.020

  We welcome donations of filming gear like GoPros, used Cellphones (with a working camera), Polaroid camera, Memory Cards, HD's or SSD's, and we are in great need of a DRONE to record our artists properly.

• Audio equipment:Speakers (old or new, small or big), Headphones, Alexas, Home Theater, and all kinds of cables (P2, P10, RCA, Speak On or extension cords).

• Lighting Gear:
  Like Reflectors, LED strings, Smart Lamps, TV's, Flashlights, security lights and last but not least, a projector!

• THE NOVA LUA ORG IS CURRENTLY WORKING IN 2 PROJECTS:

1. NOVA LUA, BRAZILIAN DJ's NIGHT AT BURNING MAN:

A space given from Camp Mystic on Friday night, one day before the man burns!
That's when NOVA LUA can bring their unique artists and talents!

*COSTS PER BRAZILIAN ARTIST, TRAVELING TO BURN:

• Airplane Tickets (2): $1000
• Burning Man ticket: $500
• Meal Plan: $250
• Transportation inside US: $200
• Shelter (Mini ShiftPod): $700
• Renting a bike: $50
• Supplies, lights & extras: $400

TOTAL: $4.100

*If we calculate in Reais, the costs are R$22.550,00.

Considering that the minimum wage in Brazil is R$1.500, it's very difficult for the artist covering their own travel costs.

2. THE QR CODE BRAZILIAN GIFT:

It's a gigantic Online folder, with high-quality musics from all kinds of styles and producers from Brazil, curated by NOVA LUA.

We already have a big group of Brazilian artists to sharing their music, contact info, and exited to connect with the global community.

Future plans include developing our website creating a space where artist can all connect, and hiring a Tour Manager so we can take the connections that happened in our website and really make our artist internationally free, to work and collaborate.

A center for sharing music, DJ sets, and videos, further enhancing collaboration and connectivity.

PRICING OF THE QR CODE PROJECT, WEBSITE, TOUR MANAGER, ARTIST VISA:

• All music came for free as gifts from the artists. $0
• Online storage - $50
• Writing the project, calling artists, explaining it, translating bios, and organizing their music. 2 months working daily. Work Hours cost: *Voluntary $0 *Costs had while working: Average $12/Day x 2 months (60 days): $770,00
• MOND's email monthly - $20
• NOVA LUA ( Logo Design + Website ) - $1800
• Printing the cards with the QR CODES - $150

3. THE THIRD PART OF NOVA LUA PROJECT, IS ACTUALLY WHAT WE LEARN AND EVOLVE JUST BY BEING AROUND BURNERS <3

Helping our country when we come back, trying to show them the strength of collaboration over competition, how taking care of your environment is actually taking care about yourself too, the freedom of being yourself, free from shakes of what society want us to be, and how living all of that helps creating a critical thinking that is extremely important when the country is taken advantage of and under poor care for so long.
