Space is described as the Final Frontier. Humans are sending more ships beyond our atmosphere. It makes sense to also send art.

You may know already at Mystic Arts Foundation we are excited to push boundaries with the fusion of Art and Technology, so when the opportunity to support artists who are pursuing ways to use the tech necessary to launch art into space shows up, we want to help them raise the funding necessary to make it possible.

The fundraisers associated with this MAF Project Page will feature artists who are working with tech companies to place their art off-world in some way.

Dear Friends,

I have a lifetime opportunity looming and I want to gift you some of these special Talismans in return for your support.

My "Devotion" Talisman (above left) is currently part of a permanent "Jewelry of Burning Man" exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum AND... has now been offered the opportunity to be placed aboard a satellite doing an "observational fly-by" of an asteroid before shooting off into the infinity of deep space.

PLUS, my "Metamorphosis" Talisman (above right) from Burning Man 2019 has been offered a spot on a mission to the moon, where it will be stored in a facility that houses human DNA records through, "Lifeship" Aerospace company.

There are a spectrum of expenses that range from creating specialized, 1x1 inch, laser engraved titanium plates of each Talisman to paying for a spot in each space launch. All in all it comes to about $6,500.

To fund this mission I'm asking for your support and will be offering these pieces as a "thank you" gift for your donation. They are necklace sized.

For a $60 donation I'll send you the Metamorphosis Talisman (top right)

For a $80 donation I'll send you the Devotion Talisman (top left)

For a $130 donation I'll send you one of each Talisman

For a $300 donation I'll send you the Talismans of your choice with the actual 1x1 inch titanium engraving going to space, adhered to the back of it.

Plus, for all of them I'll include the written explanation of the symbology in each Talisman which is extremely powerful.

Personally, I feel that having one of these Talisman (while knowing that they simultaneously exist far beyond our own little planet) is just fantastically special and rare. There is a very (very) small supply of original pieces and you'll always have a connection with the ones in space.

Both launches are in Q4 of 2024 but I'll need to finance all the expenses by June 1st.
