Typhoon Gaemi has impacted thousands of people in the Philippines. Highways are flooded, Dams are near spilling, Rivers are overflowing, and thousands of people are stranded and stuck on top of their roofs with no way out of a flood that's taller than the average Filipino height.
Lives have been lost already. People have lost their homes and those living on the streets are fighting tooth and nail for their safety. If you have spare money, or loose change, any bit will do, if its a cent, a dollar, or a hundred, every bit counts.
It's easy to ignore what's happening when you aren't directly impacted by it, but that doesn't mean it's not actively ruining and taking lives somewhere else. I believe that we, as humans, can do something to help, even just a little bit, if we all put in even just a little effort, several families can be fed, housed, and given dry clothes.
