Effective organization combining direct cash transfers to incentivize vaccines for children. Thank you @lcaviola for introducing this org!

Cash transfers, vaccinations, and rigorous research all in one small startup doing good!

Direct cash transfers are one of the most effective ways to eliminate extreme poverty, and giving people choice is empowering. I also respect their 12-year research on basic income through RCTs across 290 Kenyan villages.

Bail funds help pay small bails for people who can't afford them in an effort to reduce mass incarceration. People who can't pay bails of $1000 or less often end up pleading guilty or face sitting in jail for months/years due to backed-up courts. I chose the Bail Project because 100% of online donations go to paying bail and they work nationwide.

Love Founders Pledge's approach to finding nonprofits who are doing impactful work in fighting climate change. From their site: "Charities should compete on how much impact they have, not how good they are at fundraising. When we donate thoughtfully, based on evidence of strategic thinking and outcomes, we incentivise those practices within the sector as a whole."

QuestBridge seriously changed my life. I had to opportunity to attend Stanford University through the National College Match program, and knew that I was accepted before many of my peers, allowing me to focus on my part-time jobs at the time. They do a great job with an expanded network of support throughout college years, too.
