Through our Education Champion Network, we invest in local educators and advocates — the people who best understand girls in their communities — in regions where the most girls are missing out on secondary school.

We advocate — at local, national and international levels — for resources and policy changes needed to give all girls a secondary education. The girls we serve have high goals for themselves — and we have high expectations for leaders who can help them.

We believe girls should speak for themselves and tell leaders what they need to learn and achieve their potential. We amplify girls’ voices and share their stories through Assembly, our digital publication and newsletter.

Works to exonerate innocent people through DNA testing and reform the criminal justice system to prevent injustice.

The Innocence Project was founded in 1992 by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University to assist prisoners who could be proven innocent through DNA testing. More than 350 people in the United States have been exonerated by DNA testing, including 38 who pleaded guilty to crimes they did not commit and 20 who served time on death row. The Innocence Project provided direct representation or critical assistance in more than 200 exonerations.   The Innocence Project’s full-time staff attorneys and Cardozo clinic students provide direct representation or critical assistance in most of these cases. The Innocence Project’s groundbreaking use of DNA technology to free innocent people has provided irrefutable proof that wrongful convictions are not isolated or rare events but instead arise from systemic defects. Now an independent nonprofit organization closely affiliated with Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, the Innocence Project’s mission is nothing less than to free the staggering numbers of innocent people who remain incarcerated and to bring substantive reform to the system responsible for their unjust imprisonment. Delivering unconditional cash directly to the world's poorest households via secure mobile transfers. 

Since 2009, GiveDirectly has delivered more than $580 million in unconditional cash transfers to families in need. These one-time cash transfers allow recipients to invest in what they need most and have been shown to improve their earnings, children’s school attendance, health, nutrition, and mental well-being.
 
GiveDirectly uses government data to target villages where most or all residents are living in extreme poverty, defined by the World Bank as earning under $2.15/day. In-country GiveDirectly staff enroll one member of each household in the entire village to receive a one-time transfer of about $1,000 USD sent in two installments using mobile money. Recipients can then withdraw the mobile funds as cash with local agents and use the funds to invest in what they need – whether it’s on starting a business, education, making their home safer/sturdier, healthcare, or livestock.
 
GiveDirectly uses rigorous experimental research (randomized controlled trials) to measure the impact of their unconditional cash programs and answer public policy questions, generating evidence on key design and implementation questions across varied contexts. Survivors Of Violent Crimes Inc is a 501(c)3 providing peer support/resources to Survivors. Nonprofit status 2017.

Our specific objectives and purposes are to serve as peer support for Survivors of Violent Crimes and to provide CAM - (Complementary Alternative Medicine) service resources for healing, education, empowerment and to raise government and community awareness of victim needs and understanding of PTSD and different treatment modalities. We organize and engage in activities related to educating and sensitizing government, community leaders and the public about issues concerning Survivors of Violent Crimes such as victims rights, navigating the legal system and navigating the VCCO (Victims of Crime Compensation Office).

The Addiction Policy Forum is a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating addiction as a major health problem. Our national headquarters are located in Bethesda, MD with resources and services in every state. Our vision is to eliminate addiction as a major health problem. 

Founded in 2015, our strategic priorities include helping patients and families in crisis, end the stigma around addiction, expand prevention and early intervention, increase the uptake of evidence-based practice and advance patient-led research.

Rethink is a nonprofit committed to reducing food insecurity by developing practical models that distribute nutritionally dense, culturally sensitive meals to nourish healthy and thriving communities.

As 50 million Americans are facing food insecurity, we believe that access to food is essential to human dignity and our ability to contribute to society.

We create practical options to access healthy meals. Our current initiatives include Rethink Certified where we empower restaurants to feed their communities in need using surplus, donated or purchased food, and Rethink Café, our donation-based café where anyone and everyone can come and enjoy a fresh, nutritious meal.

Through our programs, we've partnered with over 50 New York City restaurants & dining establishments and served over 2 million meals through 75+ community organizations. We are growing, with locations in NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Nashville, and Miami.

The Lower Eastside Girls Club supports young women & gender-expansive youth in leveraging their power through year-round programs.

**MISSION:** The Lower Eastside Girls Club (LESGC) supports young women and gender-expansive youth of color throughout New York City in leveraging their inner power to shape a better future for themselves, their community, and the world. As an innovative learning hub, we model practices of community resilience and self-reliance. By championing young people and channeling their curiosity and creative energy, we are transforming our world into one of  “Joy. Power. Possibility.” 

**HISTORY:** For decades, the Lower East Side of NYC had multiple boys’ clubs, but none for girls. In 1996, LESGC’s founders launched a program just for girls in the community. Although lacking a facility, LESGC quickly became a home–enabling members to collaborate and establish meaningful, healthy relationships. After “making it work” in borrowed spaces, our members and community advocated to acquire the plot of land where LESGC now stands. Our 35,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility proves that imagination inspires change. 

Today, we are globally recognized for our unique program model. Over 450 youth participate in our innovative programs annually—from developing video games in our planetarium and harvesting bok choy on our Rooftop Farm to citizen journalism, sustainability, and civic engagement—all through a lens of activism. We know that you can only serve the whole child by addressing the realities of the community in which they reside. In 2022, we expanded our mission and service population with the opening of our [Center for Wellbeing and Happiness](https://centerforwellbeing.nyc/), which provides free wellness services for community members of all genders and generations.
