This is a great organization that supports health of our water by caring for the Mississippi River as it flows thorugh the Twin Cities.  They offer recreational activities, volunteer opportunities and education to the general public.  I recently planted trees that are more suitable for a warmer, wtter climate to help replace a few of the thousands of ash trees that are dying due to Emerald ash borer.  

The Healing Justice Foundation provides healing support for community trauma in the midst of COVID-19 and. Ongoing Anti-Blackness.  It was founded to build the infrastructure, where local, state, national, and social agencies have failed Black people.  It's at the intersection of mutual aid, public policy, and healing from trauma.
