I went to CSSSA for a summer when I was in high school and it was an incredible experience. As someone who didn't go to art college because it was unaffordable, this month-long program gave me an invaluable taste of that world in both a social way and also a technical way. I think back on it fondly and hope that the scholarships can help launch other aspiring artists on their journey as well, without needing to go bankrupt for it.
