Fostering creativity, cultural exchange, and cross-disciplinary collaboration 

Callie's  is a non-profit experimental institution founded for the purpose of fostering creativity, cultural exchange, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Through residencies, exhibitions, and public programs, we strive to support local and international artists while becoming a resource for our immediate community. Callie's operates in the spirit of inquiry; our activities are a form of research aimed at developing new models of social and artistic engagement. Between 2018 to 2020, Callie's emerged from a period of research aimed at reconsidering what an institution could be today. It was incorporated in January 2020 as Callie's gGmbH and opened its doors to the public in September 2020 with five solo exhibitions. As of May 2022, Callie's has hosted over 70 artists in residence, and numerous performances, exhibitions, concerts, readings and conversations.
